Tuesday’s Tune: Planet Caravan

I’ve decided to dedicate this week’s tune to my beautiful friend Derya, who recently told Oyster magazine that the song lyrics she wished she’d written were the ones in Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath. Why? “Because it’s flawless.” Nice choice, lovely lady.

Light of the night 
The earth, a purple blaze 
Of sapphire haze in orbital ways 

While down below the trees 
Bathed in cool breeze 
Silver starlight breaks dawn from night 
And so we pass on by 
The crimson eye of great god Mars 
As we travel the universe
