Tuesday’s Tune: Baby It’s You
Formed in Los Angeles, California, in ’69, the band Smith had a blues-ey based sound that scored them a number five on the US charts in 1969 with their cover of “Baby It’s You.” Featuring Gayle McCormick on lead vocals, “Baby It’s You” was written by musician Burt Bacharach and was originally recorded by the Shirelles and the Beatles.

Enjoy!
