The Non A/W 2010-11 Collection
I know this is not especially aimed at the ladies, but I could not resist sharing this. This morning I was introduced to a fairly new brand called The Non. Here they present their Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection which is titled ‘The Golden Dawn’ inspired by a surge of interest in the 1880’s for secret societies and other religions.
The collection look book is exceptional. Im not sure yet who the photographer was but they definitely deserve some props for it. The styling provokes a sense of timely difference and the under current of darkness in aesthetic feeds into the images via positioning and placement. Designed by Tony Spackman, a former Nike designer…responsible for amazing apparel.
The over all finished product is captivating. I love how the collection feels highly considered and refined, pruning the collection back to a solid range, only including what needs to be included. I think that is a sign of a clever designer. I can’t wait to see more from The Non.. and lets hope they bring out something for the girls!!!
