Something Else ‘Castaway’ Short Film
We shared with you earlier this week the new campaign images from Something Else, now we can show you the beautifully dark debut short film, made by the talented Lorin Askill for the Something Else Spring 2011 collection, Castaway. Lorin Askill is a Sydney based director who works in Australia and overseas. He has worked across projects for the likes of Acne, BMW & Phoenix to name a few.
Creative Director of Something Else, Natalie Wood, also aimed for the film to have an ‘other world’ sensibility and level of unease. Together Natalie and Lorin beautifully create a feeling of strange isolation and underlying dislocation within the everyday.
