With so much commotion in New York City over fashion week it’s no surprise that Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos of Shipley & Halmos had chosen to deliver an intimate pre-Fashion Week showing of their new 2010 Fall Collection line in their SoHo studio over a traditional presentation setting. This new collection is a subtle fusion of their past four seasons, a mixture of whimsy, sophistication, innovation, and a sort of casual luxury the boys are becoming known for. I love their stuff, it is always wearable and fresh, you really cant go wrong! This season my favorites are the knee length pencil skirts, the slouchy, oversized pecan silk jacket with 3/4 arms, sheer charcoal shirts with breast pockets and the chunky cropped knits. I think I have to have some of these!
