It seems that with the rate of which fashion and trends are moving in our present time that classics and basic styles will always win superior. I’m not sure if this is a deliberate rebellion against the trend following masses or a smart decision financially to have the classic styles see you and your wardrobe through a longer period of time. What ever the reasoning behind it is, it is now almost a necessity for us girls to own some beautiful basics that have a classic silhouette, that are soft, comfortable and almost addictive to wear!
Australian designer Sara Phillips can help us with our new classic and basics wardrobes… She has created a wonderful Fall 2010 Collection full of shirts, well-cut pants, soft button-down dresses and basic skirts. Items you can wear with anything, a no-brainer, the kind of items you would throw in your suitcase when you had to leave for somewhere quickly, with little thought, trusting these pieces will see you through your adventures, day or night.
