Ribbed Magazine ‘The New Era’ launched on January 30th 2010, operates predominantly as an online publication but is set out like a conventional print magazine. Featuring some of the industries biggest behind the scene names such as photographer Mark Lebon and Saga Sia, exclusive interviews, and illustrations from musicians such as Late of The Pier, Azari and Ill and A Grave With No Name, unpublished art works by photographer Adrian Wilson, mini documentaries covering the work of artists such as Lenni Lee and Zeesy Powers.
It seems print may be taking a new turn, it seems like a natural progression for magazines as a lot of them are already doing half and half online and print versions,or at least have daily blogs alongside them. I have to say though, having a quick look through just then, it’s very pretty and full on design wise but I did swear a few times trying to get to where I actually wanted to! Give me a paper printed magazine I can hold any day! …
