Project White T-Shirt. It’s not just fashion, it’s a (R)evolution. 31 designers from 13 different countries have taken part in a project to redefine the classic white T-shirt. Featuring designers and artists such as Andrea Crews, bruno Pieters, c.neeon, Complex Geometries, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Slow and Steady Win The Race and Unholy Matrimony, Project White T-Shirt is curated by Triple-Major to support Designers Against Aids.
Each and every t-shirt takes a look into the designers and their processes via film and documentation. A very interesting project to have a look through, some of the designers involved I had not heard of before so I found it interesting to read about them and be somewhat introduced to their designs, brands and work.
After looking through each of the different variations on the 31 designer’s t-shirts, you can place a bid on your favorite with all of the proceeds going to help prevention and awareness towards Aids. Project White T-Shirt comes with of course a very important cause and goal of awareness too which makes this project extra special to talk about.
