This season saw Prada send out a very textural looking collection for their Fall/Winter 09-10. Very unlike the 80’s re visit’s that most of this seasons designers have gone by. “I didn’t want to do anything about the city,” she said, “more something about sport and the outdoors in general—freedom and nature. But in the end, I realized I liked coats and suits.” A heavier collection by the way of fabrics, some constructed from substantial tweed and stiff leather, suits slit to reveal sexually revealing flashes of naked leg and red knit underwear. Amazing boots! Which I am sure will be hot on every girls wish list this winter. All in all a dark and heavy season with yummy winter colours and textures which scream 40’s feminine empowerment.
