You have to give praise to an artist who knows what they are good at. Having enough focus to refrain from what everybody else is doing and sticking to what they love. Enter photographer, Zoe Ghertner, famously known for exclusively shooting either females or still life. This photographer treats both subjects the same; championing the form, the practicality and the beauty, all in natural light. There is subtlety in each photograph, celebrating the finer details of a person or an object that I am instantly pulled to. Yes, the images are also styled immaculately and host some beautiful specimens, but I’m not sure you wouldn’t be able to see all that without Ghertner’s clarity. What do you think?
