There are just too many good images to choose from. The colour palette, the quiet energy of her subjects, the beautiful execution of arrangement in space, and the way that all of those elements play off of each other. I love the images that are visioned and created by Miss Venetia Scott.

Having started her career at British Vogue, (not a bad place to start), Venetia Scott regularly shot and styled for publications including The Face, Italian Vogue and i-D through her collaborations with photography heroes: Juergen Teller, David Sims, Mario Sorrenti and Corrine Day.

Currently the Creative Director of Marc by Marc Jacobs, with whom she has worked with since 1997, she also lends her eye to brands such as APC, Margaret Howell and Moschino.

Impressive? Yes. But deservedly so. She’s fucking good. You could say that she helped in starting an aesthetic movement, one that feels real, with images that shy away from the high-gloss fashion world, and starring your not-so-typical heroine. And as girls, we like that. It makes us feel involved. We crush on the females within her photographs – their playfulness and their freedom – it’s wanderlust for your heart.
