In these current times of financial hardship, designer Martin Margiela is pushing his own boundaries to make this seasons Artisanal Spring Summer 09 Collection. With first glances taking in a beautiful arrangement of colour and texture, one needs to look further into each garment to find that they are in fact made up of individual household pieces. Most of which you would find yourself disposing of. Examples include a tassled dress made up of multicoloured shoe laces, and a one legged jumpsuit which is put togather with scraps of old jeans. A stunning gathering of materials to be re formed into economically viable recession wear.
