Film, food, and fire.

Thank goodness there are people who refuse to let go of the texture of grain in their photographs. The practice, the patience and the mystery of shooting on film makes the whole experience of taking snaps that much more alive. Plus, there is nothing quite like the anticipation of picking up freshly developed film.

Thank goodness people are becoming aware of what goes into their body, and even better, that there is an abundance of people to teach us about it. The taste, the texture, and the benefits of eating well are unparalleled. Eat fresh, eat local.

Thank goodness we have friends that believe there is magic in the fire. A home is warmed with the presence of wood – a quiet, porous material that shows it’s beauty in it’s years. Planted, sanded, carved, washed, drifted and cut.
