I have a new life goal. To open a space in which people can better themselves. Be it through clothing, music, books, homeware, juices, herbal remedies, massage, or pampering sessions. One space that like-minded people can come to heal, to fill-up creatively, and to find out something new about the world or themselves.

It seems people have taken a shift in what luxury means to them today. People are awakening to the idea that in order to get the most out of their lives, they need to look after themselves and the world around them.

There is a space in Shoreditch, London that supports this concept, Celestine Eleven, named after the book The Celestine Prophecy (if you haven’t read this it should be next on your list). As an alternative luxury store Celestine Eleven opens up a new idea in the retail world – with roots firmly founded in counter culture, the store offers you the means to live well in all spheres – aesthetically, intellectually and spiritually – honouring the importance of each aspect through the selection of product.

It’s the birth of new retail at the dawn of a new consciousness. I absolutely love this idea. Combining the likes of Damir Doma with Life Stream wheatgrass supplements, to sit alongside the Wolfgang Tillmans box set – it is a dream of a curation, definitely my kinda hangout. A brave step in the right direction. Tena Strok, you are an inspiration. x
