With all the hype of 3D action in the movie theaters lately from Avatar and Alice in Wonderland , it’s now time for the fashion industry to be passed the torch. Claiming first place into the 3D phenomenon is British brand, Burberry. Burberry will live stream its upcoming London-based Prorsum womenswear show in 3D at private events in New York, Paris, Dubai, Tokyo and Los Angeles, allowing a global audience to feel that they have a front row seat.
“We are very excited to announce that we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show,” states chief creative designer Christopher Bailey. “This unprecedented event will enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world.” Anything to get us closer to that front row the better i guess?
Taking place on February 23rd 2010 at The Chelsea College of Art in London, the runway show will be beamed to custom-built screening spaces designed by Bailey in association with Sky TV.
