With a fine line between being a modern take on taxidermy and the slightly morbid – i can’t help but like these Avifauna birds. Made for Italian textile producer Rubelli by studio Maarten Kolk & Guus Kusters, the leather bound birds will be shown at Spazio Rossana Orlandi, during the 2012 Salone del Mobile in Milan.
