At Land is the launch of Mirador’s third collection, focusing around Lauren’s modern take on the traditional sarong as a wearable artwork. At Land is rooted in the traditions of the Japanese Zen garden, mirroring its intention to bring to life the intimate essence of nature rather than attempting to reproduce its form. The eight organic cotton sarongs and two silk camisoles that complete At Land feature prints that serve as an aide to meditation by removing the clutter of day-to-day life and taking the remaining elements into blissful abstraction. The Organic Cotton is woven and sourced from the Netherlands, painted and designed by Lauren Cassar and ethically made by Jimmy and Lien Nguyen in Australia.
