Are Studio’s SS20 season continues in its tradition of versatility with an eye toward minimalism, both in the new forms it explores, as well as with the introduction of new materials and a soft palette. Questions surrounding the intersection between structure and softness were essential for the creation of this collection, with a particular emphasis on the architectural shapes that reveal themselves with the use of new and more malleable materials. The Alvar, for example, is a new fabric-only sac made from a luxe Italian linen and features a pleated circular base from which the body of the bag emerges.
