I was supposed to be working, but when I found a wooden box-set of slides sitting on the office table at the Black offices, I was instantly distracted. Always lustful of nostalgic images, I poured over these slides, listened to the stories that came with them and persistently asked for permission to share them!
Black magazine‘s editor, Grant Fell, recently scanned these slides all taken by his father Arch Fell. Numerous images of his family holidays, a series of idyllic, hot, January summer holidays around the best spots in Aotearoa, New Zealand, during the mid-to-late Sixties. They are just amazing and now I get to share them! Thank you so much to Grant for letting me share your personal family snaps!
Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! xx
