This new year is the year I turn 30 years old. Sort of a big deal I guess. My sister asked me yesterday what I was going to do for my 30th year celebration, without too much thought I replied that I would like to spend the day in the grass with a George Harrison/Ravi Shankar-esque vibe, proceeded by a night time adventure which would draw similar parallels to that of an on-stage, Mick Jagger. Not too hard to sort out I’m sure!
Yesterday’s dreaming helped me come up with todays Tuesday’s Tune for AnyOneGirl; George Harrison’s beautiful song My Sweet Lord. I recenty watched this video (below) taken from the Concert for Bangladesh footage. The two benefit concerts organised by George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, held on Sunday, 1 August 1971, played to a total of 40,000 people at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
